Film Seizure: Now Playing – Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The End of Oak Street, Her Private Hell, and Exit 8

This month’s Film Seizure: Now Playing has a two-billion dollar superhero flick, a throwback to 80s Spielberg, a very strange thriller, and a Japanese liminal thriller as Geoff and Chuck discuss Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The End of Oak Street, Her Private Hell, and Exit 8.

  1. On my most recent podcast episode with Joe Dante, we asked who would be his go-to composer for films these days, and he immediately said it would be Pino, whose most recent album (Her Private Hell) he had already heard, and really liked. Pino had done Piranha and The Howling for him before he got hooked on Goldsmith.
