Back to School Month starts at Film Seizure with a group of films dealing with younger characters coming of age. We kick things off in a dying northern Texas town in Peter Bogdanovich’s masterpiece The Last Picture Show.

  1. I was also alarmed by the pool scene, which I first saw on VHS, where it was presented unmatted. I can’t find the references, but I’m pretty sure Randy Quaid got upset about that, saying that he hadn’t actually agreed to show the world more than his ‘beard’.
